Amman, Jordan, xx November 2014: The Applied Science Private University “University of All Arabs” organized - in the Conference Hall at the university campus, on Monday 1 / 12 / 2014, and to the first time at the level of the whole Kingdom - the career day “Tamkeen”, in collaboration with Bayt.com, the biggest site for recruitment in the Middle East.Participants were the university students and those who were looking for jobs from all the governorates.

 

Amman, Jordan, xx November 2014: The Applied Science Private University “University of All Arabs” organized - in the Conference Hall at the university campus, on Monday 1 / 12 / 2014, and to the first time at the level of the whole Kingdom - the career day “Tamkeen”, in collaboration with Bayt.com, the biggest site for recruitment in the Middle East.Participants were the university students and those who were looking for jobs from all the governorates.

 The career day aimed at giving an opportunity for the students, and those who were looking for jobs, to get in contact with employers, and assess the available work therewith. In addition, it empowered the principle of enabling the competent, and complied with the mission of companies participating in the day.

 Participants, in the Career Day,were more than 25 employers from various sectors: banking, industrial, investment, aviation, and information and communication technology, along with the diversity of employment opportunities in each of them.

​ This comes out from the support that The Applied Science Private University“University of All Arabs” extends to the youth, and its relentless pursuit to achieve the strategic target of serving the interests of its sons, throughfighting unemployment, activating the youth role, uplifting the standard of their performance, and qualifying them to enter into Arab and global labor markets. The organizing of the Career Day came crowned by a distinct cooperation between The Applied Science Private University and Bayt.com.

 His Excellency MP, Dr. Haitham Abdulla Abu Khadija, Vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Applied Science Private University, and chairman of the parliamentary bloc “Tamkeen”, on the occasion said:“The convention is considered one of the biggest, which aims at providing the opportunity for the young people, who are looking for jobs, to meet employers from companies, banks, and factories.

This initiative emerges from our absolute belief in the youth, and our objective of reducing the gap between the actual needs of labor market and the experiences available with those young graduates and others, who are looking for jobs. Our main concern is fighting unemployment; through attracting young people, who are looking for jobs, qualifying them to work in the private sector, devoting their energies, and working on developing their vocational performance. We are ready to remove all obstacles in the process of assisting Jordanian labor hands to enter the labor market, as animplementation of HisHigh Royal directives.

 They are men who make their own lives, their own present, and their own future. From this, we all work on providing the most important factors of life, ensuring jobs for the citizens, and, in consequence, enabling the citizen to depend on himself and to earn his living by the sweat of his own forehead and his own effort”.

 In turn, Prof. Dr. Mahfouth Joudeh, president ofThe Applied Science Private University said: “At the time the various universities, annually, graduate thousands of job seekers, we see the Career Days as one remover , and one part of solving unemployment and poverty issues; being capable of making young boys and girls technically qualified, and finding adequate work opportunities for them”.

 Mr. Bashar Al-Qudah, the recruitment manager at Royal Jordanian, said, adding: “We are pleased to meet outstanding students and best job seekers on the Career Day that Bayt.com, the biggest site for recruitment in the Middle East, organizes”. He, further, said: “Recruitment exhibitions are considered a distinguished means of creating a dynamic environment; where the present are allowed to ask questions pertaining to working in the Royal Jordanian, to submit their C.Vs. and to become better acquainted with the company culture, its mission and values”.

Arar Al-Mousili, the Human Resources Manager at Cairo Amman Bank, said: “Talents are considered rich fortunes; as it greatly contributes to developing business in Jordan. We are much enthusiastic about meeting the best students and job seekers, on the Career Day prepared by Bayt.com, to talk to them about job vacancies at Cairo Amman Bank”.

 The First Recruitment Manager in the Housing Bank, Mr. Ribhi Al-Ahmad, on his part, said: “The leading companies, these days, ought to meet the new generation of job seekers”. He added, “We are pleased to take part inthe recruitment exhibition prepared by Bayt.com. We are not onlylooking to receive C. Vs. of new graduates, butwish, as well, topr​esent distinctiveadvices to students and job seekers, and to answer all questions pertaining to working at the Housing Bank”.

 The Vice-president for Sales at Bayt.com, Mr. Suhail Al-Masri said: “’Enablement’ exhibition represents a successful communication point for job seekers and employers. This exhibition provides, to the students and job seekers, a wide range of opportunities for career advancement in their lives. It satisfies the need, of employers and job seekers, each of them to find the right person, or appropriate opportunity, the easier and more effective way”. He resumed saying, “We are committed to assisting employersto find competent employees, and to communicating with them. As for the job seekers, our pursuit is to facilitate searching vacant appropriate posts, at the best companies in Jordan and the area”.

 This event is available for all people. Graduates and job seekers may bring their C. Vs. and talk to the most important employers in the area.
